Summary:	The current economic crisis is causing large impact on the behaviour of financial markets and institutions. "Crisis, Risk and Stability in Modern Banking" presents an in-depth insight into key topics related to the behaviour of financial institutions in the crisis, stressing areas of major research interest. It covers a selection of papers from the past European Association of University Teachers of Banking and Finance Conference (otherwise known as the Wolpertinger Conference) held at the University of Valencia, Spain in September 2011.
